Thumbs Down for Sadie!
 

The woman I see regularly is away on vacation, so I contacted a couple of women that I've visited in the past. A date was set up for last Monday, but it was cancelled at the last minute by Sadie because she had an "unwanted visitor". These things happen so I wasn't bent out of shape about it. Sadie responses since then have been confusing to put it mildly. In summary Sadie is a petite and very pretty woman, but she also seems to be flaky and unreliable. Just a word of warning to newbies.:confused:

Hard to pass judgement without knowing the facts from her side.
Although, if the worst you can say about a lady is that you can't get to see her, then I wouldn't give her a full thumbs down. A kick in the bum maybe. lol
I tend to look more at her long term record to see if it's a regular complaint, or just a bad turn of events on a personal level. We have to remember that these ladies don't usually share their personal lives with us, so anything is possible.
Not "white knighting" as some may like to accuse me of, I just like to have more facts before saying anything that could negatively affect someone's business.
I've had really bad service at the Keg, but the meal is always worth going back for. :drool:

All that being said, your opinion is always welcome and most of us here have been in your shoes at one time or another with other ladies, so we can empathize. It's frustrating as hell physically and mentally.

I've seen her numerous times and haven't had a bit of trouble.
I did notice she wasn't working at all last week and is available today so I imagine her "unwanted visitor" is gone for at least 3 weeks!

It is true I had to cancel our appointment last week which I've apologized for and I do not dispute at all, however I did not send you any further communications after the email to cancel and apologize so I don't see how
when there were no responses sent to you. (With the exception of this morning when you sent an email stating you were available today or tomorrow and otherwise to have a good life of which I replied to said email and again apologized for cancelling our one booked appointment and wished you well, which was sent after this thread was started so until after the statement of my "confusing responses" there hadn't been any further response)

I do hope that any newbie that sees this thread reads it fully and not just the first post. "Flaky and unreliable" are not words I would ever use to describe Sadie. A one time cancellation IMHO doesn't really call for a thumb's down review. If that was the case I'm sure there would be MANY more of these reviews.

Excellent comments! ...exactly what I was thinking...I think he may have jumped the gun and got a little impatient on this one( not that I haven't done the same in the past ...but learned my lesson however)...I assume he burned the bridge with her and would be surprised if he wasn't on Sadie's do-not-call list because of it...

Maybe the op should try seeing Paris so he can really get the run around and see how the pros disrespect people and piss them off

The only member who has said anything I agree with is Puff. He's correct that I reacted in temper, but I've got no regrets. My anger didn't stem from the time she had to cancel, it was because I waited days for a reply to my messages after that. I don't tolerate that. My regulars over the years have been Emily Rushton, an FWorld girl, and my current lady. Their always treated 1st class by myself, and I expect the same treatment. A lot of guys forget the fact that these ladies only have as much power over the situation as we give them. If you check your backbone at the door, don't be surprised when your treated shabbily.

I found Sadie to be extremely accommodating & well worth the time and effort!! She is a bit young for me tho;
I have found all of the present L.S. providers (except one) that I have had the pleasure of meeting, to be extremely professional, courteous, & very exciting.
On the one nameless one, she did not answer text, PM, or email- I think I get the message! But, to save me chasing her, a polite 'no thanks' would have been appreciated.
Providers are able to pick and choose, as they should, if a 30 something lady feels that a late 50's man is too old for her, she could just politely refer to her age policy instead of leaving him dangling as to whether she is getting his requests. donnyg

To be fair and to give the lady in question the benefit of the doubt, she may have been in the middle of a session, or not even working and checking her phone. And many ladies don't reply to texts from clients they aren't familiar with after a certain time frame has passed. They don't know your personal situation and whether a reply a few hours or a day later would be received at a bad time for you. I never take a non response the first time as a sign she isn't interested in seeing me.

I had that happen with a lady here in my first year of hobbying. I sent a couple messages over the course of a couple weeks and didn't get a reply. So I figured I didn't want to be a bother. Then as it happened, she was in the chatroom one night and a group of us were chatting and get along well, so I private chatted with her and mentioned I was interested in seeing her but I wasn't sure if the no replies were meant as a signal that she wasn't interested. She replied with what I said above, that she doesn't check the phone when she isn't working (she had another job or school or something so she never took the work phone with her to those places). And that she doesn't want to send back an untimely reply that prying eyes might see. Went on to book with her and saw her many times over the next year or so.
