But seriously, recent info. is showing that hip thrusts are better for building that "bubble butt" than squats and are easier for most women to do with correct form plus produce less stress on the lower back...may be worth considering in addition to the squats

She could do that in addition to squats but not as a replacement. Squats are one of the best exercises one can do. It's great for legs, butt, back and mid section.
